Job Description
ING Australia is seeking a Security Threat Analyst to protect the cyber ecosystem across the region. As a key member of the Security Detection & Response team, you will collaborate with global security experts and local technology stakeholders to detect emerging threats, manage risks, and uplift technical security controls.
Requirements
- 4+ years in security monitoring technologies, including SIEM platforms and enterprise logging tools
- Experienced with vulnerability and compliance scanning solutions (Nessus, Tenable, Prisma, or WIZ) with a solid understanding of remediation workflows
- Strong technical foundation across Windows/Linux servers and network infrastructure, including firewalls, proxies, and switching technologies
- Hands-on scripting capability in Python, PowerShell or Bash to automate tasks, analyze data, or support operational security functions
- Excellent stakeholder-engagement skills and work independently with a proactive, can-do mindset
