Tech Finance Specialist

ING is looking for a Tech Finance Specialist to join their CoE of Governance and Operational Excellence in the Team of Tech Finance. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing monthly financial closing activities, facilitating, supporting, and consolidating budgeting and forecasting processes, monitoring costs, and identifying risks and opportunities.

Requirements

• Ideal 3 to 5 years of professional experience in FP&A, Controlling, or Financial Analysis, preferably within a Tech or Digital environment.
• Ability to manage financial activities (month-end, forecasting, etc.), ensuring accuracy in data reporting.
• Strong analytical skills to monitor costs, identify risks/opportunities, and support budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Genuine interest in Technology and Innovation, with the ability to understand IT spending (Software, Hardware, Cloud) and translate it into financial insights.
• Advanced Excel skills are mandatory. Experience with other data tools (e.g. Power BI) will be valued.
• Fluent in English, spoken and written.
• Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other similar education which comprises financial and numerical knowledge.
• Proactive mindset with a focus on simplifying processes to achieve operational efficiency.
• Strong communication skills to manage several stakeholders (Tech, Finance, Transformation office, etc.).
• Attention to detail and ability to deliver top-quality analysis.
• Enthusiasm and ambition to learn.
