Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation

We are seeking an Engineer - Electrical & Instrumentation to provide electrical and instrumentation support for ETO (Engineer to Order) projects for Ingersoll Rand Products. The ideal candidate will have experience in process industries, oil & gas, chemical, power plant or other similar industries as an Instrumentation and Electrical Engineer or similar roles.

Requirements

• Ability to read, interpret, and apply P&IDs to derive electrical loads, motor requirements, instrumentation interfaces, and panel I/O requirements.
• Strong experience in understanding, creating, and modifying electrical engineering documents, including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), power and control wiring schematics, and electrical panel drawings/layouts for packaged equipment using AutoCAD/E-plan/equivalent tool.
• Hands‐on experience with electrical calculations, including load calculation, cable sizing, selection of protection devices, and evaluation of motor starting impact on electrical systems.
• Selection and application of motor starting methods and drive solutions, and integration with electrical control panels.
• Experience of field instrumentation (pressure, temperature, flow, level), including signal types, electrical hookups, and integration with control panels and PLC I/O.
