The Quality Engineer will be responsible for performing tests to ensure units function according to specifications, and to determine cause of unit failure. The position will also involve developing documentation, inspections, quality activities, and training personnel in the quality system.
Requirements
- Diploma/BE in Mechanical
- 6+ years of experience in a manufacturing / quality environment
- ISO certification process and procedures
- Basic understanding of assembly methods
- Conventional measuring equipment
- Blueprints and other documents
- General knowledge of ISO procedures
- Root cause analysis (5W1H, 5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Excel and Word
- Standard Inspection Equipment Required
- Fabrication inspection and weld inspection
- Microsoft Office products
- Faro portable CMM equipment
- NDE inspection methods (VT, PT, MT, UT, X Ray)
