Job Description
The Supplier Quality Engineer supports, monitors, and develops suppliers in all quality-related topics to improve their performance. He drives PPM reductions and aims to minimize warranty failures at the end customer through close cooperation with suppliers, production, and logistics.
Requirements
- Degree in engineering, master, or technician in mechanical engineering, as well as further education in quality management
- Familiarity with standards ISO 9001 and IATF 16949, including auditor qualification
- Several years of experience in quality management in a manufacturing environment, as well as application of Lean methods
- Safe handling of quality tools such as APQP, SPC, PPAP, and knowledge in GD&T and measurement technology
- Expertise in tool construction, turning, and operational production processes
- Very good English skills (B2/C1), excellent communication and teamwork skills, as well as travel readiness (<20%)
