Job Description
Ingevity is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and repair electrical and instrumentation devices, equipment and systems throughout the facility. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team to solve problems that improve people’s lives and will work in an industrial chemical manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of Industrial Instrumentation and Electrical Maintenance experience or formal training from a technical school or institution in the Instrumentation and Electrical field
- Ability to work shift work and overtime as required
- Effective communication with co-workers and management
- Autonomous work ability
- Physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving whole body
- Ability to stand and work for up to 16 hours a day
- Ability to lift heavy items on a regular basis
- Ability to climb stairs and ladders
- Ability to work in an outdoor facility
- Observant in working around large items and moving vehicles
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environment
