Senior System Engineer (all genders) - Application Management

Join ]init[ and shape the digitalization in the public sector! As a Senior System Engineer (all genders) in Application Management, you'll be responsible for the stable operation and improvement of business-critical applications on Windows and/or Linux servers. You'll analyze complex requirements, develop sustainable solutions, and automate operating tasks.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the support and further development of applications on Linux or Windows servers – ideally in a project environment
• Sound knowledge in dealing with databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), web servers (e.g. IIS, Apache, Node.js) and load balancers (e.g. NGINX, F5, HAProxy)
• Use scripting languages ​​such as PowerShell or Bash to automate recurring tasks or create quick solutions
• An ITIL certificate and actively use the principles in the development and operation of service levels (1st, 2nd, 3rd)
• Ideally, you have already gained experience in IT projects for public clients
• Very good German skills and a confident demeanor in communication with different stakeholders
