Senior System Engineer (all genders) - Application Management

As a Senior System Engineer (all genders) in Application Management, you will be responsible for the stable operation of business-critical applications, analyze complex requirements, and develop solutions that sustainably optimize operations. The role involves supporting applications, coordinating processes, analyzing disruptions, automating tasks, and contributing to customer projects.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in the support and further development of applications on Linux or Windows servers – ideally in a project environment
• In-depth knowledge of databases (e.g. Microsoft SQL, PostgreSQL, MariaDB), web servers (e.g. IIS, Apache, Node.js) and load balancers (e.g. NGINX, F5, HAProxy)
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Bash to automate recurring tasks or create quick solutions
• ITIL certification and active application of ITIL principles
• Experience in IT projects for public clients (ideally)
• Very good German skills and a confident demeanor when interacting with different stakeholders
