Payroll Specialist

We are recruiting for a Payroll Specialist for one of our key customers, a Nasdaq-listed data analytics and digital operations & solutions company. The candidate will have the full responsibility and ownership of assigned business units to administer payroll independently for approximately 700 employees.

Requirements

• 7+ years of managing/processing multi-state payroll
• 2+ years of experience in Canada and/or Colombia payrolls
• Experience with a company with 2000+ employees
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State payroll withholdings
• Close attention to detail
• Ability to meet tight deadlines, and prioritize competing workloads
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Able to respond to payroll inquiries with professionalism, kindness, and empathy.
• Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in MS Office especially MS Excel
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or a Business related concentration
• Proven team player
• Prior SOX compliance experience would be preferred
• Prior experience with Ceridian Dayforce.
• Fluent in Spanish would be preferred.
