Job Description
Innergex Renewable Energy Inc. is seeking a qualified Operator - Hydroelectric Energy to join their team. The successful candidate will operate and monitor hydroelectric power generation systems, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous operation. The role requires a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, training as a Red Seal Millwright, and relevant certifications. The position is based at the Upper Lillooet site in BC, Canada.
Requirements
- Operate and monitor hydroelectric power generation systems
- Participate in the set-up and monitoring of a Preventative Maintenance program
- Read electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings
- Troubleshoot and resolve alarms generated by hydroelectric power plants
- Manage and/or assist specialized contractors
- Participate in daily work planning and operations activities
- Assist in the management of overflow camp facilities
