Job Description
We are looking for a highly experienced Head of HSEQ for one of our global shipping clients. The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience in leading the HSEQ function of a shipping company and has comprehensive knowledge of maritime rules, regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
- Maritime qualifications with preferred seagoing experience
- Comprehensive knowledge of maritime rules, regulations, and industry standards
- Extensive experience in maritime HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality)
- Strong interpersonal abilities for building relationships with shipboard staff, vessel owners, charterers, and auditing bodies
- Certification in Risk Assessment and Incident Investigation & ISM/ISO Auditor certification
- Experience and attendance in DPA (Designated Person Ashore) course
- ISM/ISO course training and certification
