Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Workshop General Manager for a global ship services client. The role involves overseeing daily operations, managing workshop activities, and driving business growth while maintaining profitability targets.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience in engine repair or shipyard environments, with 5 years in a managerial/supervisory role.
- Degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Strong knowledge of machining, fabrication, welding, and mechanical work in diesel engine repair.
- Experience with marine engine repair and maintenance, reconditioning of components, fuel injection systems, and turbocharger overhauls.
- Familiarity with class rules and manufacturing long-lead parts is a plus.
