Project Maintenance Engineer

Innophos is hiring a Project Maintenance Engineer at our Geismar, Louisiana manufacturing plant location. The successful candidate will execute capital and expense projects to reduce costs, improve reliability and provide an expedited ROI, including design, field construction, and commissioning of new equipment and building installations.

Requirements

• Implement improvement projects (scope, cost estimation, request capital money, supervision of fieldwork, commissioning)
• Manage detail mechanical design and write construction bid packages
• Prepare capital request documents
• Generate purchase requisitions and monthly cost/project status reports
• Provide start-up assistance on capital projects
• Investigate frequent equipment failures to help identify root-cause and implement long-term solutions
• Oversee outside contractors in support of plant requirements
• Develop and implement equipment reliability initiatives
• Formulate asset life plans for critical equipment
• Deliver leadership implementing long term solutions to recurrent problems
• Quickly provide troubleshooting and problem solving as difficulties arise
• Review and optimize the predictive and preventive maintenance programs
• Communicate daily with facility leads
