IT Network Engineer

Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT) is seeking an IT Network Engineer II to design, maintain, and expand IDT's corporate network resources. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field and 3+ years of experience in corporate IT network administration or engineering.

Requirements

• Maintaining, designing, and expanding IDT's corporate network
• Network Architecture & Design
• Network Monitoring & Optimization
• Interact with technical team members from multiple organizations
• Include network segmentation constructs like VLANs and VRF routing domains into existing and new network architectures
• Assures Quality: Gathers, organizes, maintains, updates and shares information and knowledge using network design documentation and diagrams
• Participate in identification of emerging technologies and network architectures
• Assist in performing administration and lifecycle management of network hardware, and software defined networks utilizing multiple network management tools and applications
• Supporting Tier 2 helpdesk requests related to network issues
• Travel up to 10% of the time as needed
