Behavioral Health Therapist I

Inova Peterson Life with Cancer at Inova Schar Cancer, Fairfax is seeking a Behavioral Health Therapist I / Art Therapist to provide individual art therapy to oncology patients and caregivers in the inpatient setting. Responsibilities include assessment and planning for evidence-based clinical interventions to promote adjustment to illness and coping through treatment and/or end of life care.

Requirements

• Master's degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in mental health, social work, counseling, psychology, or behavioral health-related field
• Internship in mental health or substance use disorder treatment completed within 90 days of employment
• Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP) within 5 years
