Inova Cares for Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Therapist III to join the team. This role will provide care coordination, therapeutic interventions, and psycho-educational programming to support individuals with mental health diagnoses and their families.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Ph.D., PsyD, EdD in Mental Health, Social Work, Counseling, Substance Use Disorders or Behavioral Health related field
- Three years of experience post licensure in mental health/substance use disorder treatment, psychoeducational programming
- Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association within 3 months of hire
- Crisis Prevention Institute within 6 months of hire
- Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP), or Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (LSATP)
- Bilingual in Spanish (preferred)
- Experience engaging in peer supervision, clinical consultation, or interdisciplinary case discussions (preferred)
- Comfortable working in integrated behavioral health and collaborative care settings (preferred)
- Skilled in utilizing screening tools (e.g., PHQ-9, GAD-7), engaging in warm handoffs, and interdisciplinary collaboration (preferred)
