Monitor Technician

Inova is seeking a dedicated Monitor Technician to join their night shift team (36 hours/week) for a week-long shift. This role focuses on maintaining monitoring systems and responding to telemetry errors, ensuring patient safety and timely care. Requirements

• Maintains rhythm strips and monitoring logs in accordance with unit policies
• Notifies nurse of loss of clear telemetry signal and arranges coverage
• Recognizes, records, and informs nurse of abnormalities/changes in patient waveforms
• Troubleshoots and maintains equipment and supplies
• Participates in unit quality improvement initiatives
