Pediatric Cardiologist (MD/DO)

Inova Children’s Cardiology and the Inova Children’s Heart Center are seeking a full-time Pediatric Cardiologist to support and expand their Maryland-based practice. The physician will collaborate with Heart Center leadership to establish and grow a strong clinical presence in Maryland locations, including Shady Grove and Frederick, which serve communities adjacent to Northern Virginia.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution
• Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Cardiology
• Successful completion of Pediatric residency program
• Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia
• Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start
• ACLS, PALS (when appropriate)
• Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
• Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
