Job Description
Inova is seeking a passionate and skilled critical care Registered Nurse to join their CVICU at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus. The role involves providing specialized care to post-cardiac and vascular surgery, heart and lung transplant, and advanced heart failure patients. The CVICU offers 24-hour support with dedicated charge nurses, clinicians, and mentors. The unit focuses on clinical excellence, multidisciplinary teamwork, and a supportive culture.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for licensure
- BSN from an accredited school of nursing
- 1 year of experience in critical care OR fellowship
- BLS certification from AHA
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire
- CPR/AED certification (recommended)
