Job Description
Inova Fairfax Hospital is seeking a dedicated Respiratory Therapist 2 to join their team. This part-time night shift role, available Saturday and Sunday, focuses on mechanical ventilation and ventilator care, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and patient experience. The role is part of a supportive, well-established healthcare organization recognized as a national leader.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited CoARC (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory care program.
- Six months in a critical care environment or one or more years of specialized training in advanced diagnostics/pulmonary rehabilitation as a practicing Respiratory Therapist.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) National Board of Respiratory Care or more than 10 years of experience as a Certified Respiratory Therapist as defined by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Basic Life Support from AHA upon start.
- Advanced Certifications (ACLS, PALS or NRP) must be obtained within one year from date of hire.
