As a Business Development Manager, you will be the face of ITG within the North American travel trade market. You will build awareness, enhance our reputation, and develop deep knowledge of your partners better than anyone. Your primary focus will be to grow the lifetime value of our key trade partners through building strong relationships and making additional inquiries/bookings.
Requirements
- 2+ years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (travel industry preferred)
- Knowledge of or passion for Japan and Asia destinations
- Ideally, you have travelled to Japan.
- Comfortable working independently from a home office with minimal supervision
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills
- Strong presentation skills for both virtual and in-person settings
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational abilities
- Comfortable with technology and virtual communication platforms
- Existing relationships within the travel advisor community (preferred)
- Willingness to travel as needed
