Job Description
Business Insider is hiring a Senior Director of Events to lead the production and project management across BI Live events, requiring 8-10 years of experience in live event production with a strong portfolio of business or media events.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of experience in live event production
- Strong portfolio of business or media events
- Proven success managing complex show formats, editorial programming, and client activations
- Knowledge of A/V systems, design, catering and broadcast vendors and best practices
- Strong leadership and crisis management skills in fast-paced, high-stakes environments
- Experience managing production budgets of $250K+ per event
- Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator
- Comfortable directing both in-person and hybrid/virtual events
- Ability to be based in NYC and in office 2-3 days per week
- Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings/weekends as needed
