Resident Advocate Supervisor (Women's Shelter)

Resident Advocate Supervisor oversees daily operations and supervision of Resident Advocates at either the men's shelter or women's shelter. Ensures 24/7 staffing coverage and a safe, supportive environment for residents. Reports directly to the Program Manager and works primarily swing shifts.

Requirements

• Prepare, manage, and maintain staff schedules to ensure full coverage for 24/7 shelter operations.
• Provide day-to-day supervision, coaching, and support to Resident Advocates.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance, and adherence to policies and procedures.
• Respond to operational issues, resident concerns, and emergencies during assigned shifts.
• Ensure Resident Advocates follow safety protocols, de-escalation practices, and trauma-informed care standards.
• Communicate staffing needs, incidents, and operational updates to the Program Manager and complete required documentation.
• Support onboarding and training new Resident Advocates.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Participate in meetings, case conferences, and trainings
• Monitor facility safety, cleanliness, and maintenance concerns.
• Review reports, logs, and case notes for quality and compliance.
• Enforce program rules, policies, and procedures consistently and fairly
