The British International School is looking for an outstanding and dynamic Specialist teacher to develop and implement initiatives to encourage student interest in the English language and culture, promoting literacy and communication skills.

Requirements

• Develop and implement initiatives to encourage student interest in the English language and culture
• Offer extra help sessions, guidance, and support to students in need
• Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities
• Contributing to departmental improvement
• Ensuring that lessons are differentiated to meet the needs of individual pupils
• Promoting and managing positive behaviour in the classroom and on school premises
• Behaving professionally concerning punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, students’ homework and maintaining confidentiality of information
• Excellent time-management and organisational skills
