Teacher of Humanities

Inspired Education is seeking a Geography and Humanities Teacher to join St. George's International School in Clarens, Switzerland. The role involves teaching Geography at IB, A Level, and/or IGCSE level, as well as contributing to teaching humanities subjects at Key Stage 3.

Requirements

• Teach Geography at IB, A Level and/or IGCSE level.
• Teach a range of humanities subjects at KS3, including geography, history and global perspectives.
• Deliver engaging, inquiry-based lessons that promote strong learning outcomes.
• Prepare students for IBDP assessments, including Internal Assessments (IAs) and Extended Essays (EEs).
• Follow faculty assessment policies and contribute to student reports and feedback.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences and school meetings as required.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum development within the Humanities faculty.
• Provide class cover when necessary.
• Act as a positive role model for students and uphold school expectations.
• Contribute to the school community through tutoring, pastoral support and extra-curricular activities, including leading a club.
• Work effectively in an international and multicultural environment.
