Production Supervisor

Insulet Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and performance-driven Production Supervisor to lead a team of Manufacturing/Production Operators and Material Handlers. The successful candidate will be responsible for training and cross-training incoming workers, monitoring product quality performance, and overseeing general machine troubleshooting. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills, mechanical aptitude, technical ability, and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• Manage and coach a team of operators and material handlers
• Manage and be responsible for work order execution and close
• Document and report status of operational goals using operational scorecards
• Provide timely performance feedback to personnel
• Maintain timekeeping for all employees
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for solutions
• Ensure the use of consistent processes and procedures to support efficient operations
• Ensure timely training and on-boarding of new employees
• Train and mentor fellow operators on manufacturing processes and equipment
• Troubleshoot and identify potential solutions for mechanical errors and safety issues
• Interface directly with cross-functional departments to drive preventative maintenance schedules
• Utilize computer systems to support material inventory and quality management processes
