Job Description
The Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety is seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join their mission-driven team committed to reducing the impact of severe weather on homes, businesses, and communities.
Requirements
- Assist in the preparation and execution of laboratory experiments related to building and materials research.
- Conduct tests to evaluate the performance of building components under simulated extreme weather conditions.
- Collect, record, and analyze data from experiments and tests, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with scientists and engineers to develop new testing protocols and methodologies.
- Document experimental procedures and results for inclusion in research reports and publications.
- Support other team members in various research activities as needed.
