AI Developer II

Join our growing team as an AI Developer II and develop innovative data products using machine learning to solve business problems. Influence the AI roadmap of the biggest P&C insurer in Canada and work with a multi-disciplinary environment.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Python, ML/AI (model development +productionise), REST/ GraphQL APIs, AWS (S3, Lambda, sagemaker or similar services)
• Experience with machine learning and scientific computing libraries such as scikit-learn, NumPy, SciPy, Tensorflow, etc.
• Experience with pipelines, Ingestions/automations
• Good knowledge of software engineering practices such as design patterns, knowledge of the development cycle and other tools such as Git, Jira, Confluence
• The commitment to be a great, collaborative teammate
• Unlimited curiosity and a passion to challenge the status quo
• Ability to focus on vaguely defined issues requiring the application of a creative approach
• Strong communication, time management and work organization skills
• If you don’t have experience in the AI field, a strong motivation to learn this new and exciting field
• For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English speaking colleagues across the country

Benefits

• Annual bonus target, based on the base salary, with a potential payout of up to double the target (subject to personal and company performance)
• Up to 10% of base salary
