Requirements
- Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
- Minimum of 5+ years of insurance litigation experience
- Experience in legal research and writing, including authorship of legal opinions
- Experience in drafting pleadings, conducting discoveries, mediations, application documents and pre-hearing memoranda
- Proficiency in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes
- Trial experience, particularly independent trial experience, is a definite asset
- Proficiency in technologies, tools, and software programs to optimize operational efficiency and decision making
