Requirements

• Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
• Minimum of 5+ years of insurance litigation experience
• Experience in legal research and writing, including authorship of legal opinions
• Experience in drafting pleadings, conducting discoveries, mediations, application documents and pre-hearing memoranda
• Proficiency in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) processes
• Trial experience, particularly independent trial experience, is a definite asset
• Proficiency in technologies, tools, and software programs to optimize operational efficiency and decision making
