Job Description
We are hiring an Assistant Accountant for our client. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience, preferably in Import and Trading, and at least 2 years of experience in an Audit firm. Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with ERP systems/accounting packages are required.
Requirements
- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Minimum 5 years experience, preferably in Import and Trading and at least 2 years experience in Audit firm.
- Familiarity with Import costing/Stock Valuation would be an advantage.
- Familiar with Bank reconciliation.
- Ability to handle correspondence with Banks and other financial institutions.
- Familiarity in using ERP systems / Accounting packages.
- Proficiency in MS Excel.
- Fluency in English and Sinhala & fluency in Tamil is an advantage.
- Preferably living close proximity to Colombo.
- Liaising with Auditors
