Job Description
Assistant Accountant Opportunity in the apparel industry, responsible for financial reporting, cost management, and supervision of finance staff.
Requirements
- Preparing and reviewing monthly and annual reports
- Handling Consumables purchases and reviewing against budget
- Cost management activities, cost monitoring and controls
- Approving non-trading purchase orders
- Budgetary preparation & controls
- Reconciling critical ledger accounts prior to monthly account closure
- Passing of all month end journals and ensuring that all ledger accounts are accurate and up to date
- Supervise & Report CAPEX purchases and monitor movement of assets
- Coordinate with suppliers frequently on non-trading purchases
