Job Description
We are hiring a Senior Accountant for accounts production opportunity in Colombo 1. The job involves leading daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations, managing tax returns, and supervising financial reporting. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of accounting experience, ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ATI qualification, and experience in Xero or comparable bookkeeping software.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of accounting practice experience ideally working in BPO environment
- ACA/ACCA/CPA/CIMA/ATI qualified (Part-Qualified with experience)
- Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce (preferred)
- Experience preparing monthly management reports
- Experience preparing all the usual tax returns (payroll, VAT, corporation tax)
- Experience in Xero or comparable bookkeeping software (Quickbooks, Surf, Sage Online)
