Technical Writer

We are hiring a Technical Writer for a Software Industry role in Colombo. The position involves producing and maintaining user documentation, analyzing documentation needs, and supporting project managers and colleagues.

Requirements

• Produce and maintain user documentation according to plan
• Analyze the need for documentation when new functionality is developed and identify which documents need to be updated
• Participate and contribute to the work of user documentation, follow publication plans with different dates for different types of documents
• Support PO, Project Managers, and colleagues to create documentation
• Ensure the right quality of documentation in line with the guidelines.
• Ability and interest in working cooperatively and supportively in a multi-disciplinary international team environment
• Act according to Company values
• College degree or other relevant working experience
• One year of experience in a similar role
• Writing and speaking fluent English
• Analytical ability
• Ability to work independently and to structure own work
• High social skills and customer-focus
• Experience from leading sub-projects and smaller assignments
