Integer is seeking an Automation Engineer II-Robotics to design, program, and maintain automated systems and manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Automation Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field, and 3-6 years of hands-on professional experience in Automation/Robotics programming role.
Requirements
- Initiate and lead in the design, programming, and maintenance of automated systems and manufacturing processes
- Program FANUC & ABB robots to create spray coating processes for new and existing products
- Program new and review existing programs in Allen Bradley PLCs
- Optimize existing robot programs and spray processes
- Standardize robotic cell configurations and processes
- Create and maintain Automated Process Application Matrix
- Assess equipment uptime and availability of parts
- Develop and validate manufacturing processes for new products
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Create and maintain work instructions for automated processes
- Defines preventative maintenance programs for automated equipment
- Design, fabricate, or source fixtures and tooling using CAD
- Support Process Validation
- Train manufacturing personnel in new processes and technologies
- Initiate and lead a culture of Continuous Improvement
- Compare and contrast new equipment and technologies
- Develop and implement preventative, predictive, and prescriptive maintenance measures
- Project management experience
- Eliminate Waste (Muda) including Overproduction, Waiting, Transport, Motion, Overprocessing, Inventory, and Defects
- Demonstrate use of Single Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED) principles
