Security Officer

We are seeking a Security Officer to support activities related to the protection of the company's assets and the physical integrity of Integer employees, as well as establish improvements in programmed activities centered on minimizing the risk or containing it if it occurs. The role involves supporting Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) initiatives at the site level, compliance with EHSS standards to ensure EHSS excellence and the health and safety of all employees and visitors working on the site.

Requirements

• Support activities related to the protection of the company's assets and the physical integrity of Integer employees
• Establish improvements in programmed activities centered on minimizing the risk or containing it if it occurs
• Support Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security (EHSS) initiatives at the site level
• Comply with Integer's values and all security, environmental, and quality requirements
• Participate in special programs related to the environment, health, and safety
• Review the proper functioning of industrial security systems
• Verify that contractors and visitors have the necessary permits
• Inspect import and export units according to the minimum security criteria of CTPAT and OEA
• Detect security risks during security patrols and report any irregularities found inside and outside the building
• Provide support in contingencies and incident investigations within the premises
• Follow goals and objectives that support key performance indicators
• Perform other tasks as needed
• Monitoring and operating the closed-circuit television system, access controls, and key cabinets at the site
• Monitoring and maintaining available information on import and export activities through GPS
• Receiving, monitoring, and executing actions required, in accordance with procedures, from detected incidents
• Supervising the transportation and security of visits, clients, and suppliers of Integer
• Preparing newsletters with relevant news and emergency alerts for associates
• Collecting security reports and statistics
• Providing support, in accordance with established procedures, to the plant management team
• Providing necessary support, in accordance with established procedures, in emergency and contingency plans of the company
• Promotes employee commitment to safety by encouraging the presentation of observations and suggestions, and notification of incidents that almost become accidents
• Supports employees at the site in EHSS objectives and tasks related to employee safety, environmental protection, or process security
• Contributes to the investigation and evaluation of incidents to determine the root cause
• Participates in EHSS teams, emergency response teams (ERT) or other interdisciplinary EHSS project teams at the site
• Ensures the existence of a safe and environmentally respectful work environment, as well as the promotion of behavior-based safety (BBS) programs and principles
