Senior Windows Administrator

Role Overview

The Senior Windows Administrator is responsible for the performance and oversight of the mixed and growing environment of Windows 2019 and Windows 2022 requirements for the U.S. Army Product Lead Acquisition, Logistics, and Technology Enterprise Systems and Services (PL ALTESS). This position will plan, execute, and implement new system HW and SW and create and maintain team technical instructions, operating procedures and policies as needed.

What You Will Do

Work with the existing Windows team to manage, maintain, deploy, troubleshoot, and support servers for a mixed customer environment. Monitor and tune system performance, ongoing operation of the servers, hardening of the servers and reporting of the overall security and operational status.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer with three or more years' experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing powershell. Strong interpersonal skills and willing to be a team player and excellent communication and team skills.

Requirements

• Experience in Computer Science or IT
• Five or more years' experience as a Windows Systems Administrator or Engineer
• Three or more years' experience in automating assigned tasks utilizing powershell
• Five or more years' installing, configuration, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex applications and websites
• Five or more years' experience working in an environment with complex networking solutions
• Five or more years' experience managing enterprise level Active Directory Structures
• Five or more years' experience creating and maintaining complex MS Group Policy implementations
• CompTIA Security+
• Active DOD Secret Security Clearance
