Job Description
We're looking for a Design Engineer, Power Transformers to join our team and make a significant impact by keeping our world advancing. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting the design of liquid-filled power and special-application transformers up to 200MVA/345kV.
Requirements
- Develop, optimize, and support the design of liquid-filled power and special-application transformers up to 200MVA/345kV
- Lead design scope development, perform critical thermal, electrical, and mechanical calculations, and prepare detailed engineering documentation
- Provide ongoing technical support to internal teams, customers, and vendors
- Collaborate with manufacturing, testing, and field service teams to ensure design accuracy, manufacturability, and compliance with project specifications
- Participate in design reviews, root cause analyses, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and design efficiency
