Job Description
At IPS, we're looking for a passionate In-Shop Technician who loves hands-on work, takes pride in their craft, and wants to have a meaningful impact. As a company, we prioritize safety in everything we do and offer opportunities for growth, job longevity, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Mechanical services for electric motor repairs and rebuilding electrical power products
- Participation in daily operational discussions and workspace organization
- Training on specific areas of repair
- Perform mechanical rebuilds on rotating apparatus repairs
- Utilize manual machine tools and balancing equipment
- Communicate with Customer Service reps and Manager on parts required for the job
- Follow CSA, ISO, EASA and IPS Standard of Work (SOW) requirements
- Participate in the Continuance Improvement culture
- Work with other technicians to meet a common goal
- Ensure safety of yourself and your co-workers
- Assistance in some Field service work installing motors, fans, and other items of a mechanical nature
