Job Description
Integrated Power Services (IPS) is seeking a dedicated In-Shop Technician to rewrite and maintain basic electromechanical equipment. The role involves inspecting for damage, documenting data, preparing parts for rewinding, and operating VPI. They prioritize safety and offer opportunities for growth within a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
- Ability to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple to moderately complex written and verbal instructions
- Ability to operate and perform VPI
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision making within company standards
