Job Description
IPS is seeking a passionate In-Shop Technician to rewind and test electromechanical equipment, including rewinding, inspecting, and testing wound coils. The role requires knowledge of electrical systems, data analysis, and adherence to safety protocols. The company prioritizes safety, growth, and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Experience in rewinding AC and DC electric motors
- Prior practice in winding fields, armatures, and synchronous rotor poles
- Ability to perform basic math functions
- Ability to read and comprehend simple to moderately complex instructions
- Ability to operate and perform VPI
- Ability to exercise initiative, judgment, and decision-making
- Ability to operate and perform machinery and hoists
- Ability to work overtime
