Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner - PRN - Pediatric Hospitalists

The Pediatric Hospitalist Program with INTEGRIS Health Children's is looking for a PRN Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join a 24-bed pediatrics unit. The Nurse Practitioner provides medical consultation, routine patient care, and follow-up as directed.

Requirements

• Initiates and completes a detailed patient assessment.
• Orders laboratory tests, radiological examinations, and other routine diagnostic procedures.
• Diagnoses actual or potential health problems and plans therapeutic intervention.
• Orders and initiates medication, treatment, and consultation based on patient data.
• Orders or performs routine procedures such as injections, immunizations, and venous and arterial blood draws.
• Educates patients regarding prescribed treatment and medication(s).
