Job Description
The Resident Care Assistant provides daily care to residents by assisting with direct and indirect care duties, as directed by the charge nurse and/or certified nursing assistants.
Requirements
- Assist residents in dressing and personal hygiene.
- Make occupied and unoccupied beds.
- Provide incontinent care and assist with meals.
- Transport residents to the dining room and accompany them on outside appointments.
- Visit with residents and provide supportive interaction.
- Assist residents with communication involving technology.
- Monitor residents to maintain safety and provide 1:1 supervision as needed.
- Organize and clean resident's closets and dressers.
- Ensure personal care items are stocked and supplies are gathered for care.
