Firmware Validation Engineer job description: Develop and maintain automated test frameworks, validate firmware, and collaborate with teams to close issues. Must-have qualifications: Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field, 6+ years of experience in Firmware and System/Hardware validation.
Requirements
- Define validation strategy and test plans for firmware/embedded features
- Develop and maintain automated Python based test frameworks
- Validate firmware for low-level subsystems
- Collaborate with firmware dev, hardware design, architects, and system/software teams
- Support board/platform bring-up
- Mentor engineers, review test code, improve coverage, and enforce quality practices
