12Volt Installation Technician

IntelliShift is seeking a skilled 12 Volt Installation Technician to perform high-quality installations of telematics devices and other automotive electronics in customer vehicles, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing exceptional on-site support to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Technical or vocational education in automotive technology or electronics is preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in automotive electronics installation or related fields.
• In-depth knowledge of automotive 12V systems, wiring diagrams, and installation techniques.
• Familiarity with telematics devices, dash cameras, GPS systems, and related automotive electronics.
• Able to utilize a DMM effectively.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record; travel to various customer locations is required.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to travel, and work evenings/weekends as required. Standard work week is Tuesday through Saturday.
