Job Description
The Electrical Engineer position supports plant operations through design, build, troubleshooting, and maintenance of all electrical systems. The role requires a B.S. degree in electrical engineering or significant work experience, familiarity with drive and PLC operational theory, and good communication and administrative skills.
Requirements
- B.S. degree in electrical engineering field or significant work experience in field
- Familiar with drive and PLC operational theory, with past knowledge of power distribution and/or PC network experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Good administrative skills
- Computer literacy
- Familiarity with AutoCAD software is a plus
- Experience with SIEMENS PLC (S-5, S-7), SIEMENS AC & DC Drives is a plus
- Experience with Allen Bradley PLC (Contrologix Studio 5000) is a plus
- Experience with Ethernet & Profibus Network communication is a plus
- Experience with HMI programming is a plus
- Strong knowledge of automated process machinery and controls is a plus
- Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
- Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions
