Job Description
Fire Safety Director (FSD) responsible for supervising fire safety and evacuation plan, conducting fire drills, and ensuring adequate FSP staff is present on premises. Must hold a valid T-89 Certificate of Fitness and have at least three years of experience in fire prevention, building service equipment, or a satisfactory combination.
Requirements
- Fire Safety Director must hold a valid T-89 Certificate of Fitness
- Supervise the fire safety and evacuation plan
- Designate a competent person(s) to act as FSP staff and conduct fire drills
- Ensure adequate FSP staff is present on the premises during regular business hours and at other times when the building is occupied
