Interac is seeking a Data Governance, Senior Specialist to provide enterprise leadership for data governance capabilities, ensuring data is managed as a strategic, trusted, and well-governed asset across the organization.
Requirements
- Develops metrics and KPIs to monitor data governance compliance and reports to gauge the health and maturity of the data governance program.
- Defines and implements data governance policies, standards, and procedures to ensure enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
- Supports metadata management activities for data and models, ensures that critical data and models are identified, classified, and recorded in the Enterprise Metadata Management Tool (Alation).
- Improves data quality management through collaboration with key stakeholders and expedites the resolution of data quality issues.
- Supports data retention activities and ensures that legal and reputational risks are mitigated through appropriate controls.
- Supports data management and model risk management activities to ensure that frameworks and roadmaps are implemented and executed.
- Effectively manages change and communication, including data governance principles and processes to data community.
