Sr Tax Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Tax Accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation and corporate accounting, with a strong understanding of estate, state, and trust tax matters.

Requirements

• Prepare and file accurate tax returns for individuals, corporations, estates, and trusts, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Manage corporate accounting tasks, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
• Handle international tax issues and provide support for clients with cross-border operations.
• Prepare K-1s and oversee the tax requirements for estates and trusts.
• Conduct tax research using Checkpoint and CCC software to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities.
• Assist with light travel needs for client meetings, as necessary.
• Collaborate with the accounting team to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
• Stay updated on current tax laws and industry trends.
