The Automation Engineer will work as part of a dynamic delivery team, ensuring the quality and reliability of software by planning, executing, and reporting on testing across various projects. They will design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts, work closely with cross-functional teams, and participate in reviews of requirements and design documentation.
Requirements
- Testing expertise and software delivery methodologies
- Experience with test strategies, planning, scripting, execution, and reporting
- Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks with WebdriverIO, Playwright, and Selenium
- API testing automation using Postman, Bruno, and REST Assured
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Team player with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
- Understanding of financial products and services, especially investment and execution-only stockbroking
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (FCA) and operational risk management
