Job Description
Administers local, inhalation, intravenous, regional, neuraxial, and other anesthetics to induce total or partial loss of sensation or consciousness in patients during surgery, deliveries, or other medical and dental procedures. Work primarily in an anesthesia care team (ACT) model and enjoy a high degree of autonomy.
Requirements
- Graduate from an approved school of nursing and hold a current RN license in the state of Pennsylvania.
- Satisfactory completion of a course of training in an accredited school of Nurse Anesthesia fully recognized by the American Association of Nursing Anesthetist.
- National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA) Certified.
- Healthcare Provider (BLS) Certification at hire date.
- ACLS Certification within 12 months of hire.
